Everybody loves a good old zombie survival game, and Dead Rising 2 is just that! Developed by Capcom Vancouver and published by Capcom in 2010, you can now get your hands on the game through a direct download link for Windows. The game takes place in Fortune City, America’s newest and greatest entertainment playground, where you’ll have to survive a zombie outbreak. With mostly positive reviews on Steam, this game is a must-try for all zombie game enthusiasts.
If you’re worried about system requirements, fear not. Dead Rising 2 only requires Windows Vista/XP or Windows 7, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or better, an AMD Athlon X2 2.2 GHz or better, and 2GB of RAM. In terms of graphics, you’ll need an NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS or better, an ATI Radeon™ HD 3850 or better, and DirectX® 9.0c. Once downloaded, you don’t need to install the game. If you want to play online, you’ll need to download the Steamwork Fix By: online-fix.me, which will unlock the Co-op mode for you and a friend to play together.
Before you start playing, it’s essential to activate the Steam-Fix. To do so, open Steam, press the key combination Windows + R, write to the line steam: // install / 324810, and click OK. This will start installing TOXIKK for a couple of seconds, after which you can stop and delete it, and then launch the game.
Keep in mind; it’s always good to turn off your antivirus and block the game’s exe in your firewall to prevent the game from trying to go online. If you install games to your system drive, it may be necessary to run this game with admin privileges. And if you have a VAC ban, then you won’t be able to play online games, so create a new account if necessary.
